Havarax is a solo project created by LCR in 2004.  It was once called “S.A.D.” or “Seasonal Affective Disorder”. The main goal of this project was then to create gut-grabbing depressive music that would make one cry in despair as he or she would listen to it.

“S.A.D.” made a self-titled demo in 2004 and in 2005 LCR recorded another album called   “Guilty Pleasures”. “Guilty Pleasures” was distributed to almost twenty friends; it was the first time the name Havarax was used. At that time the band sounded very much like a mix between black metal and crust with heavy mosh parts and countless samples of rape, torture, and bizarre incantations extracted from horror movies.

Finally in 2006 LCR felt again into a dark maelstrom of negativity, Havarax became more depressing and the rock’n rape tunes of “Guilty Pleasures” were combined with the original “S.A.D.” elements to create a sorrowful exorcism entitled “No Access to the Divine”. Always raw and aiming at intense sonic disturbance, Havarax’s lyrical themes revolve around self-gratification, a cruel feeling of loss, autophobia and the inevitable descent of man into madness.
